The Phonak Audeo I70 R hearing aids  provide exceptional sound quality and clarity in any environment. The new Phonak ERA Chip has a focus on better sound quality, reliable connectivity and personalisation. It is the primary chip platform in all the new Phonak Infinio family of devices with styles ranging from custom fitting completely in the canal to the range of receiver in the canal behind the ear devices. It is the main chip in all the technology levels from the Entry level – Phonak Infinio I 30, Mid Range- Phonak Infinio I 50, Advanced- Phonak Infinio I 70 and Premium – Phonak Infinio I 90.

This new power house of a microchip provides up to 6X more wireless transmission power for a more stable bluetooth connection to allow for uninterrupted hands-free calls and audio streaming across up to double the former distance.  Incredible actions of 550 million operations per second with its 74% more RAM for faster processing, 145 Million transistors. All this incredible processing power whilst remaining energy efficient for a full day of run-time.

AutoSense Operating System 6.0

Based on 24 years of machine learning research by Phonak the new Auto-Sense 6.0™.  The automatic system scans the environment 700 times a second and the deep neural network (DNN)  assists in environmental classification to ensure optimal functioning for that unique set of listening conditions. Features including dynamic noise cancelling, speech enhancer and motion sensors are all coordinating in real time to ensure optimal functioning for the dynamic changing acoustic environment in real time. Exceptional sound quality and clarity is preserved even in noisy echo’e and reverberant environments. You can feel confident you will be able to comfortably follow conversation in the most challenging of environments.

Seemless Connectivity

Universal, reliable and fast connectivity is provided for hands free phone calls and audio streaming from all your bluetooth devices. These include smart phone, tablets and computers whether Android IOS or Apple Mac iOS devices. In fact Infinio hearing aids can connect up to around 6,800 different bluetooth enabled devices.

Simply Double Tap or press the hearing aid rocker switch button to answer phone calls or start and stop audio streaming.

With up to 6X more wireless transmission power there’s a far more stable bluetooth connection with a big range of up to 206m for android devices and double the former distance. For example you can enjoy gardening with you favourite music or pod cast streaming or take a hands free phone call whilst rout in the garden  and your phone is in the house. The call will remain clear and your recipient will not receive any interruption of your voice either.

AuraCast Ready

When the time comes the new Phonak Infinio are Aura Cast ready. In the near future AuraCast transmitters will be present in many public venues including transport networks such as at train stations and airports, churches and movie houses. This will enable you to receive a bluetooth transmission of the public broadcasts in these places directly through your Infinio hearing aids. You will appreciate not missing important information and public notices when it really matters.

Highly Water Resistant and “Life Proof”

Of real significance is the superior water resistance provided by Phonak Audeo Infinio hearing aids. They have multiple layers of moisture, dust and dirt protection affording them an Ingress Protection Rating that exceeds the industry average of iP68. Whether you’re caught in a rain shower or exposed to dust, these hearing aids are engineered to perform reliably in various environmental conditions.

1. The exterior has a hydrophobic coating which causes water and moisture to  instantly bead and slide off. The microphone inlets and ports have been redesigned into a labyrinth layout so moisture has little chance of reaching the microphones.
2. In the unlikely event that any moisture enters the shell of the hearing aid, all the internal electronics and the lithium ion rechargeable battery are completely sealed away by a Parylene coating. There is little to no chance of corrosion even if moisture enters the hearing aid.

Parylene conformal coating is a thin film coating technology used to improve the capabilities of leading-edge technologies. It is applied as vapour and the coating layer perfectly conforms to complex shapes and provides complete and even coverage.

Reliability testing has successfully included prolonged immersions in salt water, chlorinated pool water, fresh water. So they are truly “Life Proof”. Although it is still not recommended that you swim whilst wearing your hearing aids as there’s a chance of them being lost. Also the receivers that although readily replaceable aren’t quite as water resistant and the main body of the RIC style hearing aid.

Simply place the Infinio hearing aids into the Phonak Charger Go RIC and enjoy easy charging whilst on the move. This charger has a built in power bank that hold three reserve charges for the Infinio hearing aids before it has to be reconnected to the mains power supply.
